Long COVID: What We Are Doing to Learn More At MDH
MDH currently has funding under a two-year health equity grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that will help us understand the impacts of long COVID on Minnesotans and communities disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This
emerging work is an extension of the pandemic response and recovery efforts. We may expand these efforts as more resources become available.
The Long COVID program at MDH is supported by the CDC and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of a two-year annual financial assistance award totaling $900,000, with 90% funded by CDC/HHS and $100,000 amount and 10% funded by the State of Minnesota.
