Where to Access Oral Antiviral Therapy in Minnesota

Where to Access Oral Antiviral Therapy in Minnesota
Based on recent advances in the treatment of COVID-19, the Minnesota Department of Health recommends high-risk patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 receive therapies that have been shown to reduce the severity of the illness, prevent hospitalization, and improve outcomes.
A health care provider should always determine whether an antiviral treatment is right for you by carefully reviewing your symptoms, medical history, and current medications.
Health systems and facilities across the state listed below may have access to oral antiviral therapies. Patients or providers can contact locations listed to ask about assessment for antiviral medications or dispensing of prescriptions for oral antiviral treatments.
Inclusion on this list does not guarantee availability. Inventory may fluctuate and not all therapies are available at each location.
This list does not include all locations that have received oral antiviral therapies. Distribution of oral antivirals includes other entities serving specific populations, such as long-term care pharmacies, correctional facilities, Indian Health Service facilities, select HRSA-funded health centers, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Health care systems and affiliated clinics
Many health care systems and affiliated clinics offer testing, medical assessment, and prescriptions for antiviral medications.

Retail pharmacies
Some locations where prescriptions for oral antivirals may be filled (depending on supply).
Test-to-Treat program
The federal Test-to-Treat program allows people to get tested (or have their home test result or test result from another provider assessed), and if positive and treatments are appropriate for them, receive a prescription and have their prescription filled, all at one location. These "Test-to-Treat" sites are available at many locations.
A COVID-19 Test to Treat Locator is available to help find participating sites. This locator allows people and their providers to search for two types of locations:
• Locations with testing, medical visits, and medication (Test-to-Treat)
• Locations to fill a prescription
The Test-to-Treat locator is updated on a regular basis and new sites may be added over time.
